The Haggis Horns – Live Funk Band – Saturday 21st October

The Haggis Horns bring blistering hot horn laden funk live to the Eco Park Barn on Saturday 21st October.

If you’re a follower of all things funk related, the infamous Haggis Horns won’t need an introduction –  The Horns are at the very pinnacle of the scene. They’re a 7 piece live extravaganza combining heavy breakbeat funk, soul, hip-hop and afrobeat.

After fifteen years of tearing up clubs and festivals at home in the U.K. and internationally too they are touring to release their fourth album. After the success of ‘Hot Damn!’ , ‘Keep On Moving’ and ‘What Comes To Mind’ their next album shows the boys blasting out their unique brand of dance floor funk with regular collaborators Lucinda Slim and John McCallum on tracks ranging from up beat breaks to down tempo slinkyness. Also on the album is rapper Doc Brown who helps create a distinctive hip hop feel that runs through their latest studio offering. Check out the Horns latest track here.

Live, The Haggis Horns are a funk fuelled powerhouse that rock audiences the world over, and now they’re coming to the Eco Park in Cornwall to play in the atmospheric Barn – an intimate, welcoming venue on the north coast.

Adding to the vibe on the night will be the Groove Lounge DJs: They’ll be rocking the dancefloor until 1am playing an eclectic mix of funk, soul, dance floor  jazz and Latin – strictly vinyl only!  After running regular nights over the last 15 years and playing at the masked ball and Frenzy, Groove Lounge have built a massive following in the Penwith district of Cornwall…..we have enticed them to venture further afield to play the Eco Park for the first time!

This night is going to be totally funked out!
