Volunteer Friday

New Volunteers are always welcome! No need to book just come along to the Eco Park’s Cafe for 9:30am start on a Friday. All volunteers receive a free delicious lunch for their time.

The Down To Earth Foundation, based at the Eco Park in Cornwall runs regular volunteering sessions every Friday 9:30am – 1pm.

Aimed at adults, these free sessions offer unique hands-on learning opportunities and training in a variety of practical, and sustainable land-based skills.

Join us to get stuck into practicing organic growing in the poly tunnel and allotment with experienced organic grower Marie Welsh. Along with learning more about coppicing and tree maintenance, being part of building projects on site and joining in with seasonal workshops to use the produce grown on site, as we make elderflower fizz, jam, bird boxes, willow weaving and more.

Volunteer Friday will be taking a break for festivities over December but will be back with Amy in January for coppicing the willow patch, caring for the trees and sculpting the willow maze.
