🎸 Calling all young musicians! Want to be in a band? 🎶
Join the Band Building Workshop with George Beasley and experience what it’s really like to play and perform in a band!
If you’re a young musician with some experience on your instrument and you’re keen to play with others, this is the perfect opportunity to develop your skills, build confidence, and most importantly – have fun making music together.
The workshops take place at the state-of-the-art music venue at the fantastic Eco Park in Porthtowan, a brilliant creative space for young musicians to rehearse, collaborate and perform.
WORKSHOP DETAILS:
When: Thursdays, 4 – 6pm
Age Range: 10 -15 years
Group Size: Small groups of 4 – 6 musicians
Course Length: 6 weeks
Goal: Work together as a band and perform a final live gig at the end of the course!
This course is designed to help young players learn how bands really work – from rehearsing together and arranging songs to performing live. You’ll gain experience playing with other musicians, listening to each other, and building a great band sound.

After that, weekly 2-hour sessions are £20 per session.
Whether you play or are interested in playing the guitar, bass, drums, keys, or sing, you’re welcome to get involved!

BIO: George Beasley
I play guitar and bass and I’ve been playing in bands since I was about 9 years old – which, believe me, feels like quite a long time now! Over the years I’ve played lots of gigs across the country, including a few appearances at Glastonbury Festival.
The last band I was in was Jonah’s Lift, who were fairly well known around Cornwall’s local music scene. I’m passionate about helping young musicians experience the fun, creativity and excitement that comes from playing in a band – and giving them the confidence to get up on stage and perform.
