All summer long, the Eco Park is hosting free live music sessions in the atrium – open to everyone. Whether you’re staying on site or just local and looking for a good evening out, you’re welcome here. Food is available from Tigerfeet Café, drinks from the outdoor bar, and there’s nothing to pay on the door. Just turn up, settle in, and enjoy.
Our Atlantic Roots
Indie folk with close harmonies, honest songs and a transatlantic soul
Mac and Laura, one from North Carolina, one from Yorkshire, make the kind of music that earns descriptions like “stunning live” (BBC Radio 2) and “pure magic” (Cornwall Folk Festival). Their songs are poetic and personal, rooted in Celtic and Appalachian traditions but with a cinematic reach that draws comparisons to The Paper Kites and Hollow Coves. They’ve shared stages with Passenger, Tom Odell and Ward Thomas, played the main stage at Cornwall Folk Festival, and their latest EP was recorded with BBC Radio 2 Folk Award-winning producer Andy Bell. Fully independent and building genuine momentum. Catch them while they’re still playing evenings like this one.
