Sunday afternoons never need to be boring or lonely again! So we had a little idea… to bring people together, young and old, wealthy and skint, on your own to meet new friends, with the kids or with mates. To dance to DJs, play silly games, chat, learn new skills, be human and connect.
It’s rare as hen’s teeth to find an event that is not only there for everyone, no matter what age or background, but also that doesn have a paywall – no entry fee, no need to book.
The Sunday Mix is trying out something really different – a community event, by the community and for the community. Not a ‘sit around and sip cups of tea in a cold hall’ type event, but an actual ‘let’s have a community party, with DJs & dancing, table tennis, twister and jenga, chai and cake, full bar, mini workshops and laughing yoga sort of event’.
Basically a free micro Sunday afternoon festival for all to enjoy.
DATE: Sunday 30th November
TIME: 2 – 5pm
All we ask is that you bring your smiley faces, your dancing shoes, respect the space as if it is your own front room on a Sunday afternoon and meet some new people with an open mind and an open heart!
If you are able too, you can contribute anything you like by making a small donation to South West Children’s Hospice when you arrive. We need you not only to come and have fun, but also to let other people know about the event too. And, if you want to get involved and help out just shout us HERE.
