Join us for a night celebrating all that is Tropical Pressure with an otherworldly party like no other! Doors open early 6.30pm and goes on till 3am so we can squeeze in a world class line up of bands and DJs!
These boys from Glasgow really know how to make some noise! If you didn’t catch them at Tropical Pressure, then you are in for a treat. Guitar strings, brass, vocals and digital align to form new audible experiences of World Bass music. Originating from the homemade dubwise Samson Soundsystem they are no strangers to bass weight and deliver a good time guarantee. With their roots firmly in the Glaswegian reggae and bass music scene, they blend elements of African Highlife and Blues, Dub, UK Steppas, Kwaito and Jazz to bring you a unique and uplifting afro-dub sound.
Saidi Kanda & Mvula Mandondo
We are very excited to welcome Saidi Kanda & Mvula Mandondo to The Eco Park for their first ever show in Cornwall. Founded by Saidi Kanda, an internationally respected percussionist who has played with the likes of Grace Jones and Papa Wemba, Saidi Kanda & Mvula Mandondo present an original concoction of Tanzanian village roots, urban rumba and Afro-Caribbean influences, blending traditional and modern instruments. Saidi is inspired by his rich musical heritage and is renowned for bringing to life the traditional music of the Ndengeleko and Manyema people of Central East Africa. Together with Mvula Mandondo they deliver upbeat vocals accompanied by commanding guitar-driven rhythms that provide irresistible dance grooves.
Plus a full line up of Tropical Pressure DJs. Spread across two venues jam packed from the top to the very last drop! It’s gonna be a dancefloor workout!
Cabana Cafe will be serving a delicious South Indian Thali from 6.30pm to 9pm. Get in touch with them to book a table email@example.com
