The Eco Park has many extraordinary spaces to explore and use. With a café serving delicious vegan breakfast and lunches, and outdoor amphitheatre. Our spaces are used for all kinds of fun events from theatre shows to markets and workshops.

We love hosting events here, but don’t worry, our campsite is situated in the perfect spot on our 42 acre grounds, so it is always a restful place to stay. As we are a multi-use events space, not all of the Eco Park spaces are available to use all the time. Please check with the Campsite Manager to find out if we have a private event during your stay.

Whilst our immediate surroundings are perfect for holiday relaxing,  with a footpath leading to Porthtowan Beach directly from the campsite and the picturesque village of St Agnes just a 10 minute drive away, we are also perfectly situated to explore the rest of Cornwall. The 315 bus between Redruth and St Agnes passes the Eco Park entrance. We are more than happy to share our favourite spots and recommendations with visitors!

From the Eco Park, our wild camping area has spectacular views down to the beach at Porthtowan and over to Atlantic Sea, as well as to St Agnes Beacon and the copper mining valley of Tywarnhayle.  From the naturally beautiful and peaceful site, a cleared mule track (used in mining times) leads down the valley towards the beach, so you can spend the day surfing, lazing and enjoying all the local area has to offer without needing to jump in the car.

The Mineral Tramway cycle path is just down the road, offering a great day out exploring the mining heritage of this stunning part of the world from the North to the South coast at Devoran.

On the park we have solar and gas powered showers, brand new toilet & shower block and a washroom for pots & pans – which also has plug sockets, a mirror, kettle and freezer for ice blocks.

Campfires are encouraged in the cob courtyard and fire pits and barbecues are welcome on the campsite as long as they are kept off the grass.

Whether you are looking for a laid back family holiday, participating in a course, attending a wedding or celebration or volunteering on one of our environmental projects, the wild camping here offers you a unique and affordable place to stay. We love having well behaved dogs on the park, and pets are welcome across our grounds. Please keep dogs on the lead.
