Earl 16 the legendary Jamaican singer with his unique and distinctive voice make him one one the all time greats of Reggae music.
Starting work with Mikey Dread, lee scratch perry, Augustus Pablo, sly and Robbie back in the early 80’s before moving to England and teaming up with the Mad Professor, Nick Manesseh, Leftfield and since 1995 the Vocalist with dreadzone.
Earl 16 has kept true to his roots and his Rastafarian faith. Alongside all this is he is a genuine all round nice guy where his lyric from his 2007 hit ‘its nice to be important but its important to be nice’ couldn’t be more true. His message and music has never been more relevant than what it is today.
Backed by the upper cut band who are also stars in their own right and super talented their debut album in 2021, entitled Painting On Silence with guest vocalists Kabaka Pyramid, Luciano and Big Youth bear witness to this. A night of Deep Roots Reggae music….. Truth, Rights and justice for all.
