Easylife Sound Association presents WAX ON
Following the success of the ‘WAX ON’ 10th Anniversary party last year we’re super excited to invite you back this year to do it all again!
Easylife Sound Association are Dean Breakwell, Steve Roberts & Homegrown Benj. Three like minded vinyl socialites who’ve contributed to the dance music scene in Cornwall for nearly 20 years.
With a host of residencies and parties at the Rum Bar Falmouth, Toast, Underground, Taphouse, Vertigo, Blue Bar – Holly and the Vinyl Christmas soirees, NYE parties at the The Unicorn by the Beach and regular appearances at Festivals including Boardmasters, Spring Classics, The Masked Ball, Barnfest, Holifair, Chill at the Mill, Love Riot, Kynance and Tropical Pressure Festival.
Sharing the bill with some celebrated heroes along the way including Norman Jay, Sister Bliss, Greg Wilson, Crazy P, Hot Chip, Jon Moore, Jeremy Healy, Smokin Jo, Nightmares on Wax and Dreadzone to name but a few.
E.S.A. curate all vinyl set’s to suit the party from Funk, deep Disco, underground House, Tropical flavours to stone cold Classics! Now we love a fellow Vinyl enthusiasts and they don’t come much finer than our good friends The Mongolian Disco Show who we’re super excited to have as our guest’s for the evening.
”The history of The Mongolian Disco Show remains shrouded in mystery. Some say they met playing in the yak powered discos of the Mongolian steppes whilst others agree that they must have far more cosmic origins. What you can know for sure though is that when The Mongolian Disco Show are in town the doors are going to be flung open to the best discotheque in the galaxy that’s sure to be playing the in sound from way, way out.
The Mongolian Disco Show never wanted to be pinned down… but if there’s anything that defines them, it’s a love of music that moves feet and souls. With over half a century’s record hunting between them, these music obsessed DJs have scoured the far corners of the globe for the funkiest funk and rubberiest of basslines, dug through dusty crates of disco and dived into the Death Star’s trash compactor to rescue elusive machine funk.
If you can’t understand the blues until you’ve had your heart broken, you might not understand The Mongolian Disco Show until you’ve spent a night travelling through space and time to a thumping bass line… welcome to the best disco in the galaxy, welcome to The Mongolian Disco Show.”
To top it all off, we’ll also have the man, the myth, the legend that is BONGOWINN returning from a 10 year hiatus in hills of deepest Somerset getting funky on the skins.
