Kite Festival
Sunday 3rd September 2 – 5pm.
Kite Day – Take off at the Eco Park hosted by Black Fish Theatre!
Free parking – All ages welcome – £2 a kite.
Join us for a charity kite flying event, with kites of all descriptions, sizes and colours welcome to take off in our field overlooking the Cornish north coast. Including on the day hilarious sports commentary from Trifle Gathering.
Dig out your old kites, make your own, bought or homemade… show us what you got to fly!
Prizes for… HIGHEST / LOWEST / MOST COLOURFUL / CRAZIEST / WORST / BEST!
There will be food and drink available on the day, along with our Roots Culture summer market happening on the same day in our main venue.
Our workshops at Tropical Pressure were amazing and resulted in 43 Sled-kites being made. Some of the highlights being several children who single handedly designed and made their own Sled-kites, paper Bee Kites and a Dad from Cuba who made a “Cuban Style” kite with his sons!
Make your own kite workshop – come along early and create your very own free kite to fly between 11am – 2pm on Sunday 3rd September at the Eco Park.
