Testimonial from former PDC student…

I wanted to do a PDC for ages, but really struggled to find one with dates, location, and cost that suited me. Honestly, I could not be more happy to have found this PDC  course.

Jodie has a huge heart and an amazing drive to build community and get stuff done. Jodie really embodies the permaculture principle of ‘valuing the margins’, with very wide experience and knowledge across multiple countries, cultures and demographics. I loved that the course focused on the human and ecological aspects of permaculture, with lots of valuable practical experience at the beautiful site of Community Roots and Mount Pleasant Eco-Park.

Most courses that I have seen are either intensive and residential, or spread over several months, but the course I did had a much more accessible timetable (and price-tag!) which allowed more time for processing and integration. This course was one of my highlights of 2023 which has had lasting impacts. I enjoyed the learning, the practises, the community and the location so much that I didn’t want the course to come to an end!
