Sun Prints & Botanical Printing
PRINTING FROM PLANTS & LEAVES USING A PRESS, GELI PLATE & SUN-PRINT
Try out a variety of simple printmaking processes with Artist Karen Howse at our Roots Culture Summer Market on Sunday 11th July.
Learn techniques of printing with and without a press, including sun-printing (cyanotype); an early photographic technique using sun sensitive paper which creates beautiful sky blue prints. You will have fun experimenting, and come away with an insight into plant printing and a collection of beautiful plant prints to take home with you.
