After last year’s sold out Ceilidh’s here, we are over the moon to announce that The Tinners Cèilidh Collective are back for 2024!
Why not start off the evening with a hearty meal from canteen, who will be serving from 6pm till 8pm. Our bar will also be open before the dancing begins.
A Cèilidh is a traditional Celtic social gathering. In its most basic form, it simply means a social visit, so join us for a very special addition of our regular Folk Night to be immersed in all forms merriment and dancing!
The Tinners Cèilidh Collective will be taking the stage in our Barn for a proper knees up. All ages and all dance abilities are welcome and encouraged to join in, as the band will talk you through each dance.
If you haven’t been to a Cèilidh before, you are probably wondering about what to expect? The band will be playing a range of fun upbeat folk tunes, between each song the caller will guide you through how to dance to the next song and once the group have their heads around it, usually with lots of laughs at the left feet of the group, you will then dance to the next tune. You can dip in and out of dances and our bar will be open throughout.
