Mount Pleasant Eco Park offers extraordinary interconnected spaces, including the amphitheatre, barn, cob courtyard, oak atrium and events lawn.
The Amphitheatre
At the heart of the Eco Park is the amphitheatre, a dedicated space where you can be legally married in a single ceremony under a wooden pavilion. This intimate space, licenced for both weddings and civil partnerships, is entered through a living willow archway, is banked with beautiful wildflowers and has views to the Cornish Coast and Tywarnhayle Mine. Your guests will be able to watch the ceremony from the comfort of grass amphitheatre seating which accommodates 120 people.
The Barn
The barn is a warm, welcoming, open plan space, flooded with natural light. It’s the perfect venue for a wedding ceremony, or later, for your evening reception. With lights and a disco ball, you can dance the night away. The barn is home to our stunning apothecary bar, packed full of local and organic drinks. It accommodates up to 120 guests for a ceremony and up to 180 for a standing reception.
The Atrium
The timber framed atrium is a stunning indoor-outdoor space with festoon lighting and is ripe for creative decoration. It’s the perfect spot for your meal. Using our tables, chairs, reel tables, hay bales and benches you can choose the layout that works best for you. There is also an outdoor bar serving local ale, cider and spirits.
The Events Lawn
If this field could talk it would have some stories to tell! It’s seen everything from toast drinks to marquees, Lawn games to sports days. bouncy castles to kids entertainers and even axe throwing. The possibilities are endless.
Wild Camping and Glamping
Just meters away is the wild camping field, with a laid-back close to nature approach you can offer your guests the wilder side of camping but with all the facilities of a regular campsite. Located in a huge field, with no set pitches (other than the hook- ups) and views to the sea. We can also offer you a bit more luxury in our wooden shepherd’s huts and dressed bell tents. Enjoy the evening under a star scape sky in our cob fire pit, we can even supply a chef to make you pizza from the cob oven!
